My resolution for 2012 was to spend more time with family and it was one of the best goals I’ve ever set. This Summer, I’ve made it a point to be involved in as much family time as possible and not letting “busyness” get in the way. Here are some of my favorite memories of the Summer so far.
The surprise party of the century. It was only 24-hours until the fifty attendees were set to arrive when we found out that a storm took out the power in the entire town where the party was supposed to take place. Scrambling around all day, we found a way to rig the house (without too much attention) with generators, fans and cords. It was the hottest party in town and luckily, there was a pool!

Months ago, my niece asked if I would do the Color Run with her and the family. Once I saw how much fun it was going to be, I immediately signed up. If you have the chance to do the Color Run, do it! What a blast.
My niece on the other side of the family is just starting to crawl and it’s so adorable to watch her grow. (BABIES!)
Of course what family time would it be if I didn’t include some of my favorite times with Jaxson? A picnic in the park and his birthday celebration at the lake with his uncle Ranger.
What are some of your best family memories this Summer?
